Born in Pforzheim/Germany on June 7
where he spent two and a half years in an art and handicraft school.
Followed his course of studies at the State Academy of Plastic Arts ("Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste") in Stuttgart/Germany.
Then went on to study at Kassel's "Staatliche Werkakademie" and in Paris.
Study trips to California. Relocated to San Diego.
First "Zeit-Aktion" in the desert.
Returned to Germany.
Worked as Art Director, finishing this period of life after having been awarded with the
Great Price of the New York Art Director's Club.

Several years of study trips to:
Argentina, Bali, Brazil, Chile, China, India, Mexico, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, and the
United States as well as the countries along the Mediterranean including Northern Africa.
The 1976 exhibition "Ein Jahresschaffen" in Marbach marked the beginning of his activities as an
independent artist.
Twenty-four individual exhibitions and six performances followed.
